Gérald Genta Retro Jump Hour - Complete Set (circa 1990s)
CERTIFIED & AUTHENTICATED
EXCLUSIVE AT LE ALFRÉ in collaboration with our good friends & verified vintage watch dealer, Huntington Company. This specific timepiece isn't an easy model to find, especially with its original box and papers. The creator, Gérald Genta, a Swiss watch maker extraordinaire and artist who designed the iconic Omega Constellation, Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak & the infamous Nautilus from Patek Phillippe, was deeply involved in the mechanics of his timepieces from his early days at Universal Geneve. He introduced the retrograde minute, a jump hour movement, and later a retrograde date, which redefined the way time is displayed on a watch. The blue dial is amazing, it's the perfect shade of royal blue. The white hands and numbers make the watch very easy to read. Paired with the original blue box, you have an amazing set. Sold in partnership with Huntington Company, an exclusive partner of vintage watches located in Virginia.
