"Le Fun" Striped Oxford Shirt

So, I love Oxford cloth shirts, and out of all the shirts I own (a frankly absurd amount, from every maker you’ve heard of and some you haven’t), Le Alfre’s contrast collar shirts are the only ones I really wear anymore. I’ll be honest- I was a little disappointed when I saw that these striped shirts weren’t Oxford cloth, but figured I liked the pattern, so what the heck- might as well try them.

Oh my word, these are outstanding. Every concern I had disappeared when I tried them on the first time- they’re lightweight, they’re elevated, they iron supremely well and they dress up or down incredibly easy. My first time wearing it was with a suit and tie to a board meeting. After the meeting, I changed into shorts and untucked it for a late lunch- perfectly at home in either situation.

Seriously, pick some of these up. Le Alfre, you hit a homerun with these- please do more shirts in this fabric.

This is what you think of when you think of a perfect Oxford shirt. As a trimmer guy, it seems like shirts like this either fit like a tent or a second skin. This is the perfect middle ground - fitted enough to look sharp, but a generous enough cut to not be constricting. Textile quality is top notch too.

I may not be Le Alfré’s intended customer, but I’m a devoted fan. Their shirts are impeccably made—classic cuts, quality fabrics, and the kind of structure that’s hard to find in women’s wear. I wear them oversized, sleeves rolled, paired with a fitted skirt for conferences and events. The compliments always roll in.
I respect that Le Alfré is a menswear brand—but for women looking for timeless tailoring and serious quality, it’s a secret worth sharing. They’re not trying to be women’s wear—and that’s exactly why it works so well.

There’re a few things that can instantly enhance a man’s impression. A good haircut, an old fashioned, and a really good shirt. This shirt is just that.
I wore it once, and looked so good in it that my wife asked me to only wear it around her.

Honestly never review products but genuinely high quality, weighty fabric and a good fit. Going back for a couple more shirts now! Impressed with the brand and rooting for its success.
